Michael Crabb

Lecturer in Human Computer Interaction

I am a Computer Scientist with a background in HCI. I completed my PhD at the University of Dundee as part of the EPSRC funded SiDE Project followed by a postDoc jointly hosted by BBC R&D and The University of Dundee. I am the academic lead for the UoD Science and Engineering Research Cluster in Human-centred computing and co-direct the User Experience at Dundee Research Group.

My main reserach interests span the areas of Accessibility and User Experience. The main theme in my work is that accessible services should be created with the aim of going beyond a binary approach (e.g. off or on) but should add to the overall user experience of using a product.
